The
yellow Emma dress is finished! I'm sending it off tomorrow. Rather sad to see it go! I really fell in love with that scrumptious yellow cotton print from my favorite fabric source -
Quilt Book.
It has two pairs of button-in long sleeves - one pair in cream as seen in the movie dress, and one pair in matching print.
It's gorgeous! You did a really good job...and I want that dress. :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a darling dress!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! I really must see that version of Emma. I love Romola Garai as an actress.
ReplyDeleteIt is so pretty! Different from the original, but made in the same vein - good job!
ReplyDeleteDid you get the pattern somewhere or make it up? (Or maybe a little of both? :) )
ReplyDeleteI drafted the pattern with help from the Janet Arnold books. :^)
