Guess what? In Februrary we are expecting a little addition to our family! We both feel very blessed and excited. :) I can't wait to meet this new little person!
Already being three months along, I hope to be over the worst of the morning sickness stage. The first couple of months were pretty bad, quite nauseous most of the day (unless I was outside in the fresh air) and not able to cook much. Smells were about ten times stronger than usual, so by the time I got done cooking anything I would be so sick of it that there was no way I could eat it. Thankfully Jordan was very unserstanding and we finally made it through. (Big thanks to my mother in law who had us over to supper quite a lot when I couldn't cook!)
Now I'm feeling just great, I might venture to say even better than normal. :-) Two weeks ago I went for my first midwife checkup. Got to hear the little heartbeat! She told me that anytime now I might feel movement, can't wait for that!
We are about to get very busy working on the house getting it ready for winter, putting in some real running water, and moving upstairs!! So excited!
(I've also started sewing again and taking orders - having lots of fun with that...! I'm also planning some baby sewing projects, which will be something completely new for me!)
Squeeeee, congratulations!!!! How wonderful! Praying that all goes smoothly and your baby is born safely!
