Announcing a new white sheer regency dress! This one is from a newly drafted bodice pattern. Currently for sale in my Etsy shop.
Made from an under layer of cotton muslin and and over layer of sheer cotton voile.
Skirt has a slight train in the back.
Fastens with two drawstrings, one at the neck and one at the waist.
White dresses are perfect to be accesorised with any color of trimming!

ReplyDeleteSarah - Yes, the hair style was totally made up. It was one of those 'magic' one time in a thousand when I stuck a few pins in here and there and it actually stayed! woohoo! At least long enough for pictures. :^)
As far as I can remember, I started with about 1/3 of my hair in a side part at the front, the rest towards the back in a center part. I loosely twisted each side front back around to the back in half-up style and secured each twist with a clip. then I flipped up the long hair in the back, tucked the ends under and stuck a few pins in. Lol. Not very scientific, and I doubt I could do it again. But - I'm thankful it worked for the pictures! It was very windy.

I love it Atlanta! its beautiful! I still can't see how you can part with it!!!! But a great job and yes I am sure the costumer will love love love it! I also love your robert lands! I am getting a regency pair of walking shoes in red from him soon. As my sister and I are going to be doing 1812 reenacting at Fort McHenry in Baltimore, Maryland this summer! I am so excited to recreat history in regency attire!
