Sneak Peek at the Edwardian Dress Designer Kit

The next in the Dress Designer series is almost completed!

I hope to have Design Your Own Edwardian Dress ready for purchase (and a giveaway!) by the end of the summer!

Currently I am designing the watercolor illustration for the cover page - as shown in these two sneak peek pictures! :) Then, as soon as I write up the historical notes page, it will be off to the printer's shop!

Very excited about this new kit! It is such a fun and frilly time period - so many fun hats and intricatedly detailed dress styles and trimmings!

I also have a question for you, my blog readers. What time period would you like to see as the next Dress Designer?

  1. I would like to see a little house on the prairie dress kit!!!1

  2. An Elizabethan dress kit would be nice!

  3. Love your work! I'd love to see a depression era kit. The Hollywood glam is OK, but I'd like to see what ladies were wearing in the every day world. :)

  4. 1940's!!!!!!!! I adore the 1940's! Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire are the best.

  5. It looks great, Atlanta! I would love something from either the 1930's, 1940's, and/or 1950's.

  6. I enjoy using your Regency kit very much! My daughter does to. I have been wondering if you could do a kit for little girls. From any era, though regency would be neat (Maybe a Kate Greenway-esque kit?), to go along with the other set.
I'm looking forward to your Edwardian kit!

  7. I think a 1950's would be kinda awesome. :)

  8. I guess this is out of your area of interest (mine, too) and therefore would require a lot of research, but I think late 17th -early 18th century would be awesome - little girls would love the "princess" aspect of it, no doubt.

It's such an unusual, and very pretty, era.
But I guess your customers will like anything you create, because these kits seem so ingenious to me. :-)

  9. Wonderful Atlanta! Your artwork is so lovely. :D

I think a medieval kit would be really neat. :) But there are so many time periods to choose from!

  10. Oh, I love this! It looks absolutely scrumptious.

Goodness, I would say that any time period you select will be adorable - however, my vote goes to either an Elizabethan or medieval set. There are so few resources for period fashion from those eras - and the costumes are so lovely! =)
