Until then, here are a couple of recent projects for Etsy clients:
A white cotton voile regency drawstring dress. This was for a 12-year old girl - I think it will be lovely for her special event. White dresses are always so elegant and simple. And I love doing this regency pattern - its just plain fun.
This next project I just finished yesterday. It was definately a little more complicated - quite a challenge!
A 'Tangled' Rapunzel dress in an adult size! How much fun is that?
The skirt is actually attached to a spagetti strap under bodice. The over bodice with the pink sleeves laces up the front with pink ribbon through hand-worked pink thread eyelets.
Frying pan and chameleon were not included with the costume.
Two layer skirt!
The skirt trim came from fabric.com - some lovely floral organza-backed ebroidery stuff decorated with pearly seed-beads. Cute!!
Neckline, waist, sleeves, and skirt all trimmed with lace.

Wow, incredible work! I love the simplicity of the Regency gown, but you have some amazing skills to make that Rapunzel outfit. Lovely! I cannot wait until I'm advanced enough in sewing to make elaborate costumes. :-)

I am in awe of your Rapunzel Dress! So jealous! I'm working on one atm, except I'm just modifying a dress I found at the op-shop. I won't be as close to the real thing as I'd hoped, but whatever :) A girl can always use a pretty pink princess dress!

Lovely gowns! I bet the Rapunzel gown was a lot of fun to make! Did you design the pattern? Is it for you or was it a commission? In any case, it is a wonderful gift to be able to turn fantasy into reality!

I am a HUGE fan of the movie Tangled and have seen it many times. This dress looks exactly like Rapunzel's and it is beautiful! I LOVE your work.

Did you use patterns for this? if so what did you use? I'm having trouble finding patterns to make this
Sarah, I used several different patterns to make the tangled dress. The outer bodice was based on Butterick 6196, and the underbodice was based on Simpilicty 7206. The skirt was a simple gathered panel skirt, and the sleeves I drafted myself. Hope this helps!
