Yellow Emma Dress

I've been commissioned by a lovely Etsy client to recreate the yellow Emma dress! How much fun is that?

This is the fabric I ordered. I think it captures the feel of the movie dress.  I'm planning to make the cream undersleeves where they can be easily removed by buttons.

I'm excited!

Has anyone else done any Emma dresses? There are so many lovely ones in the new Romola Garai version!
Also -  last night when we were watching it, I spotted two repeat dresses from BBC Pride and Prejudice. Anyone see those?

Oooh, it's going to be lovely! Whoever is getting it is very lucky. ~*~ I've only seen the "old" version of Emma, though I'd love to see the new one, too.

Fun! I love almost all the dresses in that movie! I haven't made any of them myself, but someday I hope to. :)
