Really beautiful! I love the pattern and choice of material!~Lauren
Oh, how completely darling you are, and in that dress... ;-) Too cute. ~*~*~*~
Wow, that is beautiful! I love the neckline, the back, the pockets, everything! :) I've never used a vintage clothing pattern before...is it pretty simple, or do you have to make a lot of adjustments?~Kristin
That is sooo cute!! Such lovely fabric!Meg
Oh, so beautiful! I'd love to make a dress like that someday!
Thanks, everyone! :^)Kristin, the only differences I have noticed when using vintage patterns as opposed to modern patterns, is the directions are a bit more sparse. But they are quite sufficient, especially if you have sewn before, or have someone you can ask about basic terms and techniques. I did also have to adjust this particular pattern quite a bit smaller, but I have to do that on most patterns. (I think most patterns run large...)
Aww this looks like the best "garden dress." It's so pretty, I could just see those pockets holding a few fresh tomatoes and peppers as you weed the garden.
How lovely! I think that pattern is simply beautiful, and what a wonderful choice of fabric!
So breezy, cute, and fresh! I love it! :)
adorable! I love the construction and the defined waist! Great job Atlanta! I love the color of the fabric as well! a sweet dress all around. :)
It's just gorgeous! I love vintage patterns, especially the 1950's!
Loverly! The big pockets are made of win. :D
